Although no claim is being made by the author that this test measures anything in
particular, or that any research whatsoever has been conducted using the Chimera
Analogies Test, you may use the following table to rank yourself. The Miller Analogies
Test is a recognized standardized test that is used primarily for graduate school
admissions. Also, several high IQ societies accept individuals who have scored high
enough on the MAT into their organizations.
Please note that the test is culturally biased, and is biased in favor of Americans. You are at a severe disadvantage if your primary language is not English. Also, the test was designed with individuals age 21 and over in mind. For these reasons, as well as others, do not take your score too seriously if you did not perform as well as you had expected. You might "tack on" a few points to your score if you fall into one of the categories described here as being at a disadvantage on this test, for purposes of determining your "I.Q."
DOUBLE THE NUMBER OF
ANALOGIES THAT YOU ANSWERED CORRECTLY. The resulting score is the
number of analogies that you might be expected to answer correctly on the MAT, which
contains 100 items. The MAT is timed, while this test is not, but this test provides 6 answer options per question, while the MAT only provides 4. These 2 factors may balance the tests in level of difficulty, although it is suspected that the MAT may still be a bit harder. The table was created by the author of the Chimera Analogies Test, and is for entertainment purposes only. This table also indicates which high IQ societies accept the
MAT, and at what levels. Note that the MAT is only one of many tests that can be used to join these societies. The table also gives you an estimated IQ score.

(1) International High Five Society. The exact pass level is not known for this society, which is now defunct, but it is suspected to have been around a raw score of 52 on the MAT. Individuals had to score in the top 5% of the general population on an approved test to join this society. This is IQ 126 or above on most tests. A society that accepts at the 95th percentile and is functioning and growing is the International High IQ Society.
(2) Mensa and Camelopard. Both societies require or required a score of 66 for entrance on the MAT (Camelopard is now defunct). Individuals have or had to score in the top 2% of the general population on an approved test to join Mensa and Camelopard. This is IQ 132 or above on most tests.
(3) Intertel & the Top One Percent Society require a score of 74 on the MAT for entrance, & Collegium required a 75 (now defunct). Individuals have to score in the top 1% of the general population on an approved test to join Intertel & TOPS, and had to score in the top 0.5% to join Collegium. IQuadrivium, One-in-a-Thousand, & Glia Societies require slightly higher scores than
this for entrance. Individuals are supposed to score in the top 0.1% of the general population on an approved test to join these societies. Theoretically, only one person in a thousand qualifies. This is IQ 150 or above on most tests.
(5) At the time of this writing, the Prometheus Society offers membership to individuals who score a 98 or above on the MAT. Prometheus claims to only accept people who score in the top 0.003% of the general population. This is IQ 164 or above on most tests. Theoretically, only 1 person in 30,000 qualifies!
