Answer to Puzzle Contest:

The house is on the road to the city marked "Solid Location." The saying is "between a rock and a hard place." Many people in the US pronounce Iraq much like "a-rock," and "Solid Location" is a play on words for "hard place." Before heading home, the soldier catches up with the Puzzler and treats him to a snack: a knuckle sandwich! :-)
